Quartz composite is a type of engineered stone made of natural quartz, pieces of glass, mirror, granite or other natural stones, and resin. In comparison to natural stones, quartz composite surfaces are considerably less porous and highly resistant to stains and penetration of spills into deeper layers of the surface. In this sense, quartz composite surfaces are relatively easy to clean, care and maintain. In addition, quartz composite surfaces are stronger, more durable and have a higher resistance against stains and scratches compared to natural stones.
